Living in The Philippine Islands is like riding a motorcycle......

There are two kinds of cycle riders; those that have been down and those that are going to go down.

Without someone protecting you in the P.I. you are going to have a problem with the police (if you are lucky) and with local robbers and killers (if you are not lucky) if you live over there long enough. At least the police will extort thousands from you whereas the robbers will murder you for your few pesos.

We wonder if the same hit man that did not perform well with a .22 calibre this time used his .45 which he also had when he attempted to murder another "Aussie" several months before?

We were told this web site helped the police to decide to get to the bottom of this murder. (Nov. 9. 2008) But "Higher officials" are now trying to white wash the whole thing to allow the murderer to go free. And there has been a payoff to a high ranking Philipino official living inside Clark airfield.

Police file murder charges vs wife of slain Aussie Aussie, Ivan Brown
By Mar T. Supnad

ANGELES CITY- Police had filed murder charges against the Filipina wife of the murdered Australian executive and another cohort following the shooting to death of the foreign investor in Clark.

Relatives of Ivan Royal Brown who was shot to death last Sept. 25, police said, believed that the murder of Brown was purely motivated by money and greed since the victim owned the Outback Five star Clark Philippines in Clark Freeport, a multi-million dollar company.

Charges of murder were filed against Gloria Fuentes-Brown and her alleged cohort Alvin Salas, also a Filipino.

Malcolm Brown, Jr., nephew of the victim told newsmen they were happy about the development and that they are not actually running against the assets of the Austrian but a justice for his bloody murder.

The young Brown said the victim’s family in Australia strongly believed that the murder of their relatives was motivated by greed so his wife can manipulate and control his business alone.

Police said the victim was on his way home last Sept. 25 aboard his Toyota Prado when he was waylaid along Friendship Highway at Barangay Anunas.

Police said indications pointed to the suspects were hired killers.

The young Brown has also expressed fear that his life is also in danger following the death of his uncle for pursuing the murder case.

He added the victim was described in Australia as hard working and kindhearted man.

We wonder what will be the result of this heinous murder in two years? Will they be set free or almost be out for having served their sentences?

Did Colonel Florendo Saligao (Soon to be a General) or a boss in the syndicate, allow a hitter out of jail to murder two foreigners for the police or a leader in the syndicate or both?

The most dangerous situation to be in while living in the P.I. is to be a rich foreigner married to a younger Philippine Islands' woman.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Philippines—Two unidentified men shot dead an Australian businessman in Angeles City, north of this city, at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Senior Superintendent Pierre Bucsit, Angeles City police chief, identified the victim as Ivan Brown.

Police investigators learned that the gunmen, riding in tandem on a motorcycle, opened fire as Brown drove past the Seramonte Lodge along the Friendship Highway in the village of Anonas.

The triggerman used a .45-caliber gun, said the police.

Brown, who has a company inside the nearby Clark Freeport, lived in Timog Park beside the ecozone.

Investigators were still determining the motive for the killing, the second roadside ambush in Angeles City in two weeks.

Station 4 chief of police Rene Aspe said Brown was on board his sports utility vehicle when two men riding on a motorcycle shot him several times using a .45 caliber handgun.

Police theorized that the incident has something to do with the victim’s business.

Aspe said they, together with the city police Detective Bureau, are now conducting a follow-up investigation to determine the motive behind the killing and to identify the suspects.

The victim instantly died because of the serious injuries he sustained, police said.

Brown’s body was later taken to the Pangilinan Funeral Parlor for autopsy, Aspe said.

Investigators have already gathered statements from witnesses to solve the slay case.

Of course the wife hired Mr. Brown's murderer, right men? Probably a boyfriend.
