The average Philipino had a hard life

There is no welfare or money giveaways in the P.I. Many times someone will raise money for a worthy cause and steal all, part or most of the funds. Not a single soul in government does anything solely for unselfish reasons!

__________

((04 05 09)) Here is one for you! The great compassion of the P. I. gov. and its Bucktoothed-dwarf-President, towards its own people!

Five million of the Philippines' poorest families will receive cash or health insurance benefits from the government this year, President Gloria Arroyo's spokesman said Friday.

((What the bloody hell! She could give them each thousands of dollars and still be rich from the plunder she has stolen the last few years!))

A total of 321,000 families -- double the original target -- will qualify for cash handouts of up to 9,000 pesos (187.50 dollars) this year, spokesman Cerge Remonde told reporters.

Under the plans, five million families will receive the equivalent of 1,200 pesos each in the form of medical insurance coverage, Remonde added.

((Now the truth comes out! No small amounts of cash at all, but additional health protection, which they cannot spend!))

________

((3 20 09)) We are stunned into silence by the darned great help the P. I. black hole of a government is to give their own people. We wonder when the P. I. black hole will go conning other governments to help them help their own people?

"The Philippine government is to start offering loans to workers who have lost their jobs due to the economic slowdown, officials said Wednesday.

The Social Security System (SSS) is ready to offer three-year loans of up to 15,000 pesos (about 310 dollars) to 30,000 employees who are laid off this year, SSS president Romulo Neri told reporters."

That is such a pitifully small amount. We wonder at what interest the "loans" will be made for. Usually the rate is 30% compounded! It does not matter for they will not loan that small amount without making them pawn something of larger value!

May we be bold enough to suggest that the government only take the monies stolen by the "Customs Department" for one day and give those people $2,000 each?

________

((Mar 17 09)) In January of 2009 almost 2% of the population left, flew the coop, got out of dodge! That is a staggering number of people who were lucky enough to get out!

((Mar 5 09)) As you read this article you should make note that the people are starving and that bird meant "FOOD"!

A rare Philippines quail that was feared to have become extinct has been photographed alive for the first time -- as it was headed for the cooking pot, ornithologists said Tuesday.

Hunters snared the Worcester's button quail (Turnix worcesteri) in the Caraballo mountain range last month and a TV crew took pictures and video footage of the live bird at a poultry market, the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines said.

Club president Michael Lu said the group was "ecstatic" about the find, but they also "feel sad that the locals do not value the bio diversity around them."

He added: "What if this was the last of its species? Much more has to be done in creating conservation awareness and local consciousness about our unique threatened bird fauna."

Named after Dean Conant Worcester, an American zoologist who worked in the Philippines in the early 20th century, the bird was previously only known through drawings based on dead museum specimens collected decades ago.

(November 23, 2008)

Yearly 9,000 little Philipino children die from something that is easily curable, Pneumonia. Most of these end up in government charity hospitals who are usually funded in part by local mayors. The resort city, Baguio City, has a mayor that supports their local charity hospital for the super amount of 100,000 pesos ($2,000) per year! He steals that much in two days from his various scams, etc. It is criminal for them to give such a small amount to protect their small citizens!

The doctors in these charity hospitals give prescriptions to the patients and the patients are to go buy the medicine. When they do not have the money to buy the antibiotics to save their relatives and their very own children the sufferers die! Heartless, but it happens hundreds of time over in the P.I.!

When landslides occur local officials exaggerate the numbers affected so that international donors give more which the politicians then pocket!

The elected officials steal anything not nailed down, and try to steal what is nailed down along with the nails!

We wonder how much of the mercy money is being stolen.

(September 10, 2008) The people you live among there have it really tough

The normal average Philipino will treat you with kindness and shows compassion to the foreigner when he is down on his luck. But to get out of their poverty most will, in a heartbeat, allow any daughters to marry most any non-Philipino.

Do not think the average Philipino is like the people that work the red-light districts of most countries.

They have been raped, ravaged and seen their country plundered by their leaders and some are now starving.

You know they have as hard life when you see the street children who end up as beggars and in the future hit-men for the police.

You know they have it tough as you see little children pushing carts picking up roadside garbage to sell to junk yards, or worse the towns surrounding the great "smoking mountains" (Manila's garbage dump) living off of the surrounding regions garbage.

Life at Manila's "Smokey Mountain" garbage dump

More than 60,000 people live and work in all of the toxic mess! One of our team members visited there two years ago and every parent he talked to were willing to sell any child/number of children he wanted for only $200 each!

Here is a white woman trying to "make a difference" at this toxic mountain of garbage. Why aren't there any brown-skinned Philipinos trying to make a difference? The Philippine Islands' national police chief could give his illegal gambling monies each month and he could support every family there and pay to move them into new housing. He could then keep his "protection rackets" monies and still be rich!

September 10, 2008,

A young mother living in poverty killed her three young children by forcing them to drink a toilet cleaner solution before taking her own life, the Philippines press reported Wednesday.

The 32-year-old mother was found by neighbors in the front room of her shack in a slum south of the capital Manila.

She and her children, aged four, three and two, were rushed to hospital but all were pronounced dead.

"There is a strong indication that the killings and suicide were triggered by extreme poverty," local police chief, Senior Inspector Raul Sandoval, told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Sandoval said the dead woman's husband was a laborer working in Manila and "would sometimes" send 800 pesos (less than 20 dollars) home a month.

It is estimated that 40 percent of the Philippines' 90 million population live on less than two dollars a day.

Foreigner, do not think all Philipinos are like those working the red-light districts.

Concerning this story the Prez of the P. I. said the woman was raped and that is why she killed her children and herself. Sure Prez, you can put out that misinformation to sooth your own conscience but we and your starving poor know better.
