This is a normal story of what happens in any fisticuffs in the P.I. when Philipinos and foreigners have a go at each other.

((Cebu Feb 26 09)) Charges of causing serious physical injuries and attempted murder were filed against two foreigners in Cebu City Thursday for allegedly attacking two Filipinos the weekend before.
Lawyer Inocencio Dela Cerna ((Here is the real motherf#$ker)), corrupt counsel for Hilario Escudero IV and Don Marck Delleva, filed the cases against Hola Iketau, a Tongan, and Jody Hunt from New Zealand at the Cebu City Prosecutors’ Office. Prosecutor II Raul Cristobal received the cases.
Escudero had bruises all over his body, a front tooth was broken, and his neck was fractured but Delleva suffered more. Aside from bruises, his jaw was busted. Delleva could no longer talk and chew food. He is scheduled to have surgery Friday at a private hospital. Delleva is a liaison officer of Cebu Medical Supplies and Equipment while Escudero is an aircraft officer.
That same day the two targets went to the police to file a report of being attacked and mauled by Philipinos. Hola Iketau, a Tongan, and Jody Hunt from New Zealand told their story and before they left they were charged with "Serious injury and attempted murder"!
The next day the two losers' attorney, Attorney Dela Cerna produced bills for more than 500,000 pesos! The two men, whose car hit the two foreigners and knocked them, down asked the foreigners for 2 million each in damages. We would not doubt they hit the two foreigners on purpose. Hitting a man using a jeepney has worked before with police standing nearby in order to extort from the foreigner.
There you have it. You can be walking on the street and a car with two Philipinos run you over and you are targeted and charged. Why the hell do you dumb asses still visit that hell hole when Thailand treats you better and does not target you?
You long time residents and embassy officials know how this is going to end.
The moral is when you fall into P.I. waters the attorney sharks, the police sharks, the prosecutor sharks, and their damned corrupt judge sharks have a go at you!
Men, you are the targets, the prey animals! You do not have a single right under current P.I. judicial policies! You are not visiting or living in a civilized country when you are in The Philippine Islands!

At the least bit of any kind of trouble in the P.I. you foreigners do not stand a chance. They will inflate, make-up, build up false charges and do any beastly thing to get your money!
